My Grandma

My Grandma Sharlene passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011. I love her and I already miss the love that only a Grandma can give. I always knew she loved, cared, cherished, and supported me. It didn't matter my hair color, my weight, my choices, or my education. She loved me. I will always remember Christmas time at my Grandma's house in Elko. We'd go for 4 or 5 days around Christmas and we'd simply eat food, go shopping, and watch TV for hours(we didn't have TV at home at the time;). The night before Christmas we'd open one present and Grandma would be busy getting ready for turkey dinner the next day. She'd lay out all this bread around the house on towels and blankets to dry out for the stuffing, which as a child I could never figure out why. Other fond powerful memories are birthday cards, strong perfume, red lipstick, and lots of gold rings. I love you Grandma and I already miss you tons and today there is a hole in my heart but I know that you are now free from pain and among the angels.

Fall...Sukkot, New Office

Last weekend was Sukkot and I helped with decorations, food and what not. It was a great time had by all. It is always fantastic to see family and friends.

Fall has been beautiful around here. I took these just yesterday :). See I'm going to get all caught up ;).

I still have a few flowers in my yard.

Okay so my other "project" that I've been working on besides work, a wedding cake, and whatever has been my office. Kenneth and I finished hanging the art work and mirror last night. Oh yeah I'm happy.
Kenneth took me (made me) go to IKEA and I spent all my money there...evil store. Take me back. :0

I got the mirror on sale at Home Depot and I LOVE it.
Okay now I'm all caught up and I feel SO much better. How 'bout you?

Summer Part 2

In August Heidi came to visit for a week and we did all kinds of things....some I'll tell you about and others were illegal. JK. We had fun though. ;)

 Wow...that's my happy face.
We also put together a surprise birthday party and dinner in Ely for my Grandma Eldridge. She is fighting cancer and we wanted to put something really special together for her.

 This was scary. Just sayin'.

The kids were working out at the Senior Center.

 Feeding the ducks and geese.

 Farming.

Sometime close to the last part of the summer we moved my sister(Sharla) and her family from Logan to Heber City. We spent alot of time cleaning, packing, driving, and unpacking. Hummmm...can't say it was "fun" but I was glad to help. At the new house in Heber there is a playground and a nice back play area for Asya Rae to run around and play.

To finish off the summer there is always the State Fair. Once again it was tons of work and loads of fun.

 Yes he's singing.....
Jessica, Ash and Asya came to visit.

More farming pictures. ;) or more pictures of the farm....

Yadira asked me to do her and Ian's wedding cake. I really like making cakes but I don't know why...I'm kinda a perfectionist when it comes to cakes and by the time I'm done obsessing about them I'm half crazy. But I like how it turned out....go figure. ;)
